The 3rd post before the night end: My beach trip with chubby.

Fuu.. i can't believe i even have time to crap on this 3rd post, on the same date, 27/12/2012. Wondering will this post be my last post of the year. Cautious! This is gonna be long post!

This post is blogged specially for you, chubby. Do you remember the great time during our trip? 5 years together, this is the first time we went for trip, just the two of us together and i seriously very happy thinking it back again and again. Wishing can go trip with you every year once le.. haha. One of my wishes. =D 

This trip was on because chubby was planning to attend this Magic The Gathering GP Manila around June 2012. I was being so emo about he going to be away from me for almost a week. Seriously damn emo. Wtf am i so emo bout it? Coz never in our 5 years relationship, he is away THAT LONG! *pouts* Sorry, i admit i'm being so sticky towards him. >_< And so, he promised to bring me for a trip, as a compensation he is ditching me for whole week. 

Planning a trip was not easy though and we are so in budget tight. Me, love to exploring on voucher sites, happen to saw great deal on this Cherating 2D1N trip at Groupon and forward to chubby. With immediate response from him, we purchased this voucher and book on the date before he gonna fly to MTG GP Manila. 

And so the date has come! 

The journey starts. It was 3-4 hours journey reaching Cherating because we both are noob in sense of road. Haha. Nevertheless, we arrived safe and sound. Thank God. Cherating was less developed with no tall building around. It was quite a kampung area to me judging chubby and me come from city.

We arrived quite early than we expected and the hotel check in was 3pm if i not mistaken. Thanks to dear chubby; he really making effort to list down day 1 and day 2 what to do and where to go for me. How thoughtful! So he brought me to see turtle at Cherating Turtle Sanctuary! It was not turtle hatching season, so no baby turtle for me to see. And also, to our both disappointment, this place seems dry out. It is free entrance and you can give donation. Nothing much to explore except few turtles swimming around the small pool. Poor fella, you suppose to swim in big ocean! Me never see baby turtle in real life. D:

After the turtle sight seeing which not more than 30 mins, we hunt for food coz is lunch time! The weather was so so so hot, so we settle down in one kedai makan that we found along the roadside *there are many kedai makan at Cherating but mostly all operated at night*. While we are savoring our meal thinking how to spend 2 more hours before our check in time, we got called from our hotel saying they allowed us to check in early. Blimey! Gonna love their courteousness! We checked in around 1pm and rest to gained our energy after whole morning journey on road till evening hour, our next plan; head up to Kuantan beach!

I super super super love love love Kuantan beach! Although it was not my fave beach; i still prefer beach with fine sand and transparent clear blue greeny sea water but heck, this beach ok liao if to compared to Gold Coast Morib and Port Dickson. Why le? Coz the sea water although is not clear blue, but it still clear and clean, at least. Yes, the sand, i adore the fine sand that i enjoyed stepping on it with my bare feet. Chubby and me spent half evening till night at that beach, enjoying walking the side by side and holding hands at the beach side, getting our feet wet by the sea water. That moment, is my most precious moment.

Sunset and moon rising up, we back into our car and hunt for dinner around Kuantan area and found this kedai makan Planet Seafood. One thing that chubby enjoy this trip is the food we had, was damn cheap if to compared to our city cost. Cheap that we ordered so many for less than RM30 if i still can remembered. Oh ya, the food is not bad! I kinda miss the ikan pari bakar.

We had tomyam soup, telur bistik, daging masak merah, sayur kailan masak ikan masin and ikan pari bakar!

Before the night end, we chilled up at hotel bar, chubby having his chill beer and i having my fave icy cold kahlua!

I'm not a morning riser but i forced myself to wake up early before the sun fully heat out and forced chubby to wake up. It took me so hard to wake this chubby up. Grrr... He is even worst than me. Damn lazy pig! Why wake up so early? Because i wanna walk the beach side with chubby before we going back on that day; walk at hotel beach side this time. That is how much i love that moment again and i wanna do it again with chubby.

So sad that we are gonna go back to KL and face the reality of life. D: We only had noodles cup and coffee for our breakfast. Know what, I love having instant noodles cup in hotel. So is a must to pack inside my travel bag. Basically, what chubby had planned in the list, we did not went for it coz we I too lazy wanna explore other places. Beach is enough to satisfy me. Before going back to KL, we went further to sempadan Terengganu i assumed to hunt for their famous otak-otak and sata which is like you can definitely find it at every roadside.

Very different from what we normally ate at KL. The otak-otak texture is wet type *the normally i ate is dry type* but i enjoyed the sata the most. Keropok lekor, the mak cik served us that time, was bit cold.. not crispy. So so only..

Pak toh-ing with chubby, i saw this with immediate thought and with puppy eyes looking at chubby, "can i have this for dinner" without knowingly i edi dragged his arm before he could answer me. Never say NO to your girlfriend!

Btw, i just had my dinner before coming into here. =P

I'm not a food reviewer, i will only crap bout what is good with this food stuff nao! Including pics i snapped using my S2.

These are the flavours! Mind me, i forget what are the flavours selection but i know green tea is not available at that time. wtf.

They only frying the outer part of the bread, not the inner to ensure the bread is crispy yet fluffy soft to eat!

I love it! I love the crispy yet fluffy soft bread! And the ice-cream texture was so creamy rich and smooth. Outside was warm and inside was cold. I was too busy savouring it, so no pic on how i eat. Figure it out yourself.

If you are Malaysia, i bet you know what is ais-krim roti. It was chubby and my favourite. You can often find it at motor ais-krim around your neighborhood, if still exist la.. It not so sumptuous looking but eh, taste very good le! You can even try make one at home, similar like the one above! No worry, this one doesn't require you to fried the bread like pro! =P

All you need are:

1. hot dog buns
2. your choice of ice-cream. my fav, i like chocolate!
3. your choice of toppings. raisins, peanuts, rice crisp, chocolate syrup, strawberry syrup.. bla bla bla. my fav, i like chocolate syrup especially the Hershey's chocolate syrup!

You need to:

1. cut center/middle/half the bun whatever it called as. Attention! careful with knife handling. get adults to help you if you are kids!
2. scoop up 2-3 scoops of your choice of ice-cream and place 'em on the center/middle/half the bun. 
3. add your fav toppings and voila! ready to be served and eat!

Definitely will come here again!!

I knooooowwww......!!!! My be right back was so uber long. I was totally quite away from my pc due to i was busy *wtf, i don't even know what i actually busy at*, lotsa gathering events has been held once i stepped down from my holiday and oh ya, house was under new renovation and changes and bla bla bla.. 

Basically i kicked myself out from my house and staying over at chubby's place because i need clean bathroom. My house was doing major renovation on kitchen and bathroom especially and due to no place to shower and poo poo-ing, my family then booked 2 stars hotel cottage nearby my house to stay for one night. i couldn't stand sleeping on that one night. The place was so chak; i hate fighting over blanket with my sister because i need to be covered during sleep *not to mentioned i'm afraid of cold*. So next day, i don't give a damn to tell mum, i wanna stay over at chubby's place coz renovation is not done yet and family this time gonna stay over at their friend's house. Me being nomad-ing from my house. =O

It might be late but better late than never! Wtf. 

Merry Christmas and hope your wish come true! 

I glad i spent my Christmas day with bunch of good friends with great laughter. I'm looking forward for another great Christmas celebration with friends and chubby again in next year 2013! xoxo

I'm still here.

Yes, i'm still here. I'm not missing. Just been away for so long coz i'm not around. And it is almost end of year, shoooo...... busssyyyyyy..... =O

Distant Worlds

Few months back, around mid July, i was really excited to found out that Distant Worlds tour performing for the first time in Kuala Lumpur at Dewan Filharmonik Petronas a.k.a MPO. I'm not really a FF geek but i enjoyed their music very much especially music composed by one of the most celebrated composers in video game music, Nobuo Uematsu. 

So yea, i decided to tag along with yukirye and her friends to go for the Distant Worlds coz thinking orchestra thingy is not chubby type, no point dragging him along plus the ticket is pricy. 

Worth the wait. I know yukirye is hell excited counting down for it once the month reach November. Me too, just not as excited as her. I'm hell busy this month and i sick quite often due to the climate changes. Worst, i even fall sick *curse the flu* on the DW day that i'm so looking forward to it. Don't care! Die die also must go there. 

Thanks to my ehem.. Mr Driver... my chubby of coz to send me there! I reached KLCC early, just to have dinner with yukirye and cheryl before we heading to DW. I'm been craving for pasta lately, even mentioned in whatsapp group that i wanted pasta pasta pasta but i ended up ordered hearty chicken & vegetables soup @ Ben's. Feel so sick that i don't think i can eat the pasta anymore; it is quite heavy portion for me. 

After dinner, we head up to MPO. It was quite early, almost more than an hour earlier than the performance gonna start at 8.30pm. Yukirye wanted to come early for the DW merchandise checkout. I think we really waited almost an hour for it. Once the counter is open and DW merchandises are ready for sale, lucky we were among the first at the counter. The queue was crazily long after when we purchased our stuffs. @_@ They were selling t-shirt, booklet, and cds. Dvds sold out. =/ I'm not fond of the shirt, knowing the only time i will wear shirt is to go to bed. So i grab the cds; the black and the white version.

It was my first time attending live performance orchestra. It was superb and amazing. I can only gasp and amaze with the every sounds i could hear from every single instruments played at that moment. This is so amazing that it giving me goosebumps and i couldn't believe that i could actually feel so touched. Glad my flu was behaving well, i didn't sneeze at all but once the whole thing ended, i nonstop sneezing. Feel so dreadful on that night. Though Nobuo Uematsu was not in the present =( yet the whole performance was really amazing.

MPO was actually pretty strict. You need to wear smart casual to attend. And no camera was allowed. The place is so beautiful that i really wanna snap a shoot. Kinda hard when the ushers are walking everywhere and warned the audience "NO CAMERA PLEASE". =(

But the stubborn me still wanna try to capture this amazing place especially with the Distant Worlds screen. It wasn't easy to snap this. This is the only one and last shoot i able to secretly snap and glad the picture turn out well. Though i wish i can also able to snap the beautiful light ceiling but ushers are really everywhere, so i gave up.

Boardgame??

I never knew that boardgame are more than just a boardgame.

When i was a little, the only boardgame that i have is those 8 in 1 games such as Snake'n Ladder, Chess, Reverso/Othello or as far as i can remember. Then during Christmas, i requested dad to buy me a Monopoly boardgame as a present so that i can play with my siblings. Soon, Bingo and Scrabble come into my childhood game collection. 

Card game? Yep, i do have and as i can remember; Snap and Happy Family cardgame was a hit during my primary time. Oh, not to mention the UNO cardgame. Having loads of fun with my friends around whenever teachers are away from classroom. 

I wonder if this game still available in here.

And now, i played something that was so much fun other than these actually, thanks to chubby bringing me to play along. So what is boardgame? It is a game of strategy played with moving pieces on the board. 

Betrayal at House on the Hill

This first boardgame i was introduced. Very fun la playing this game. Bit suspense and mysterious. It allows players to build their own haunted house until at some point someone triggers a scenario called Haunt. So when the Haunt is revealed, the person will become a traitor and the rest players, the heroes will struggle to survive to defeat the traitor. It has more than 50 haunts, each with its own story. Uh huh, me love suspense~~

The Settlers of Catan

It was the award winning boardgame. The players represent settlers and build settlements, cities, and roads to connect them as they settle the island. The goal of the game is to reach at certain victory points on one's turn. The points are scored from each settlement they own or various other achievements such as establishing the longest road. Though is an award winning boardgame, i don't find interest in playing it. To learn more about this game, you can check 'em --> Catan

Carcassonne

It is a tile-placement game in which players draw and place a tile with a piece of landscape on it. The tile might feature a city, a road, a cloister, grassland or some combination thereof, and it must be placed adjacent to tiles that have already been played; cities to cities, roads to road, etc. Having placed a tile, the player can then decide to place one of his meeples on one of the areas and scores points. Can you see, these meeples are so kewt!!

Agrigola

It is a game about farming where you have to build a well balanced farm at the end of the 14 rounds, every player get to do 2 actions in each rounds. Fun to me but the time played quite long. Need to think. Haha. Me no good in farming. All i do is plow field plow field! Too lazy for me to explain, all i do is copy paste the "how to play this" thingy, you go check it out, googled it yourself. I happen to found an online game for this, not sure how it works but you make go and explore this -->> Agrigola Online

Small World

I like this game! This is a conquest and control of a world that is simply too small to accommodate them all and comes with various races and special powers to expand the empires. 

This is only some of the boardgames i've ever played. I even enjoyed playing new cardgame recently; Monopoly. Monopoly in cardgame?? Monopoly is not boardgame meh? Hehe.. i thought so...

Monopoly Deal

I tell you, this game is dangerous! It is addictive! I really cannot stop playing it in the beginning. The goal is to collect 3 complete sets of properties of same colour. Sounds easy huh but not when you have action cards that enables other players to stop you from building all 3 sets by stealing your card, making you pay rent, etc. This is fun game! 

Since my friend bought the Monopoly Deal : the goal is to collect 3 complete sets properties, i bought myself a Monopoly Millionaire Deal, same rules game except to collect 1M and win!

Imma so looking forward for november! And not to mentioned december and the end year of 2013! I'm gonna be busy busy busy to enjoy as much as i can before the start of 2014!

I'll be going for my very first company trip fully sponsored by my company of coz! I will be meeting my besties that i so so so long didn't hang out with even just a simple dinner with them! And my longed long holiday with mummy to somewhere out of Malaysia! I'm so excited! I never stepped out from Malaysia before, erm i lied. I been to Singapore before. Haha.. but i never travel by air before le.. so this is my first time. Superb excited like a xiao mei mei that could dance around with her lollipop!

The last time i traveled by domestic air (somewhere within Malaysia) was when i very small that i could hardly remember the feeling sitting inside the plane that flying above the fluffy cloud. 

Hope someday, i can travel to somewhere with le chubby by air. Is must be so much fun just like we travel to Singapore and some beaches in Malaysia. One of my wishes. Tee hee~ 

Beauty Box?!

Whenever i have free times, apart from spending my times in front of my pc, rolling on my bed with my S2 on hand and read some online manga/novel, or even perhaps wasting my time watching some Youtube; i sometimes find interest in reading blog by bloggers, from the famous local celebrities blogger such as Cheesie *i heart her every single piece from her wardrobe!*, Fourfeetnine, Bangsar Babe *she ate so many nice foods yet she still can maintain her slim body!*, and there goes the list but of coz, these are the one i'd luv to check 'em out and for leisure reading. I love checking out Cheesie coz she often posted bout Japan, a country that i hope i would go someday and explore the culture and food *of coz* there. *crossing fingers*

Alright, so someday, i happened to browse through this blogger WenPink and found out something that caught my attention. A beauty box. She was reviewing about the beauty box of Vanity Trove October 2012 edition. Frankly, i did not know what was this Vanity Trove thingy. I didn't even know it was a beauty box in the first place. All my mind think was "whoa, so many things from this box! Izzit a special gift from some company to her?Lucky her!"

Going through on her review on that, hence i type VANITY TROVE on Google search. That explained my curiosity; i never knew about this beauty box subscription service in my country. Ok, mind me for being so outdated.. >_< For certain price every per month, they will send out to the subscribers a box that contains around 4-5 beauty products  mostly are in high end beauty samples form or if lucky, might get the original size packaging. For VT, do check their website out if you happen to read my this entry and you are interested to get this beauty box surprise every month in front of your doorstop. Plus it is free shipping!

Pros: if you are the person who love trying new things on beauty product but can't afford to pay so much of $$$, you may be looking forward to subscribe this every month just to hands on on top quality product and tested 'em out! You can always try 'em out in the sample form and if good, you might wanna purchase the big bottle!

Cons: not for the sensitive skin type and dislike getting sample form products coz feel paying that much of $$$ on these products, it is totally not worth it, eh? 

When i was checking through on the VT's reviews by some beauty love bloggers (you may check the VT reviews from Street Love, i so happened to found out another beauty box subscription, Fabulous Finds. Quite interested to subscribe it lor coz is actually cheaper than VT. Per month subscription only RM35 if to compared with VT is RM60 every month. But sadly, when i was ready to subscribe, i found out that the founder of FFs announced to discontinuation of the FFs. Do check their FFs Facebook page for more details. Noooooo!!!!!! Me wanna have ma beauty box from FFs! So sad-nye... T______________T

See if i would subscribe VT one day. I know there are other beauty box subscriptions out there besides FFs and VT but for now, VT seems to be top ranked by bloggers. Haha.. shall see then..

I didn't tell any of my closest friends about me start blogging, oh c'mon.. why i wanna show off le? Why wanna announce to the whole world that "Hey, i've a blog and remember to check me out there!" Geez... Me is very low profile one le.. Besides, i noticed we changed! My friends who often blog, one by one slowly stop updating their entries. I kinda miss them now. ='( Eh wait, the only person who know me hiding in here is le chubby! Chubby, if you are reading this, be proud ya!

Hey there *waves*, 

It's truly a while since i have a blog. 

See, i blogged since secondary, i guess is pretty much long long time ago judging of my current age now but hey, i'm not an auntie nor granny, ok? I'm still young, just already passed my teenage level long time ago. Imma just no longer a xiao mei mei anymore. Oh crap! What the heck am i talking about? Nvm me.. Haha.

Back then, i crapped lotsa stuffs. Then, life is getting busy with studies, assignments, exams... university student's life.. hence i'm off from writing anything, in fact i'm felt bored to write something. My routine is pretty the same, you can say is pretty boring. 

I did not wanna continue blogging from my previous blog link, so i decided to create a new one, a fresh one.  Before i created this, i told chubby that i suddenly feel like wanna blog something. He supported me and asked me to write something like food or travel. Urm, noway i guess. I'd prefer something that i would go bleh bleh bleh and crap crap crap anything that i want in here. I do not wanna specific my site as those categories. Besides, i'm not a good writer actually. Don't expect any good grammatical English from me. I'm treating my blog as my diary, or perhaps a place for me to rant out or share out. Probably you might expecting lotsa nonsense from me soon. =) 

Gonna be a challenge to me; wonder how long will this blog survive? You see, i'm so interested wanna blog something but next minute later, i might totally lost interest in it. I'm easily bored. My mood swings very fast. I used to have 3 blogs last time. The very first, i think i've lost the link, or probably i deleted it. Then i created the second one but it didn't last long after 30 posts or more i guess. The third one, it was a private blog for me to rant something even more sensitive and that too, went dry and dead in silent. =/

Oh btw, took me awhile to think my blog name. Yep, Crappy Bunny. I know someone out there is using this name as his/her blog link *feel bit frustrated knowing this name is taken and not available for me to use...* but i decided to name my blog Crappy Bunny anyway. Why? Coz this name, i took from chubby's one of his social network usernames. Why am i not being genuine and create an alias for myself instead of curi other's ppl punya username eh? =P Thinking that if i type my name which is also my blog link, i feel awkward, yep.. awkward. I just don't wanna use my name and my mind is telling me that i wanna crap something out and this word Crappy Bunny has stuck into my brain! That's all. Simple as that. 

I'm totally in love with Lindsey Stirling violin's videos now. Love the music and her body movement while playing the instrument. More over, she's cute. Addicted to Electric Daisy Violin.
